Hi friends!
From all of us here at Guitar 1on1, we hope you have a safe Easter break with family and friends
Chris
Hey fellow Guitarists!
Happy new year! We hope you enjoyed the break and hope that you, your friends and family weren’t too affected by the recent Queensland Floodings. 2011 is shaping up to a big year and we’re glad to see you a part of it! We are starting the year with many students from 2010 returning and a few new faces giving us a total of 32 students. Here’s a quick look ahead at what’s happening for the January/February period.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR 2011
We trust that you all had a thorough read through our terms and conditions for 2011. I’m quite sure that some of you in the chaotic period leading up to Christmas didn’t receive a copy of your terms and conditions back after handing it to me signed and I do apologize for that. If you didn’t receive your terms and conditions page back, let me know ASAP and I’ll print you a copy.
NOTE CHRIS’ STUDENTS
All of my students are back on the standard prepaid system of 2 weeks or 4 weeks effective as of now. Any questions/concerns, please let me know.
REPORT CARDS
If you are a school aged student with us and you didn’t receive your report card for Semester 2 2010, you will receive it in your next lesson with your teacher
FEES (IMPORTANT)
As explained in our T&C, fees need to be paid by the due date. To coincide with this rule, one of the changes implemented this year (and written on your T&C) ,if your fees are paid late more than 3 times during 2011, you will lose your lesson spot. We don’t wish for any of our students to lose their lesson spot, so to help you stay on track with your fees we offer
1.Direct Bank Deposit
If you decide to pay this way, please label your payment with your name and the word fees. You’ll receive a receipt once the payment has gone through. This is a great way to pay for people like myself, who don’t carry cash with them that often
And now we are offering
2. Any day payment
Should you wish to finalize your fees on a different day to your lesson, this can be arranged by simply phoning/texting/emailing should you pay by cash/cheque. This is just to ensure I’m here for you
To help with bank account transfer times/ pay days of our students, we won’t consider your fees to be outstanding until your following lesson. This also gives you time to finalize your payment if you are away on a day your fees are due.
I will continue to write your receipt out as normal with the due date for your next fees and give reminders where possible a week before so you can organize yourself for payment. As always, any questions/concerns regarding your fees, please ask me.
MAKEUP LESSONS
While we did our absolute best to finalize makeup lessons before holidays, there were still a few lessons outstanding. We’ll continue to run makeup days once a month to keep on top of them. Please remain patient if you have makeup lessons, we will get to them as soon as possible.

It’s been a fantastic 2010 with many students continuing to do some fantastic in and out of the studio. It’s great to hear this feedback and we look forward to an awesome 2011!

Yes we are aware its still 2010, but those that get in early will be guaranteed a lesson spot with one of our friendly teachers!

REPORT CARDS
We are currently filling out report cards for all school age students. These will be issued during lesson time in our last week in December before holidays.
