30 minute weekly lessons- a standard lesson
60 minute weekly lessons- an optimum lesson for the student wishing to get more from their playing.
One off 30 minute lesson- for those wishing to “brush up” on something specific!

I use the most effective curriculum to get you progressing as efficiently as possible to help you become the guitarist you want to be.
Guitar 1on1 teaches and practices
Great musicianship. The importance of listening and general understanding of the guitar sound. How to play by yourself as well as play with other musicians.
Music Theory- reading notation, Tablature, and chord charts. Rhythmic devices, chord knowledge and the use of scales.
Technical advancement- Finger exercises designed to build your technique and playing ability.
Great music- Using new songs and classics. Not just learning the song but also learning the mechanics used to put the song together.
Effective practice sessions- The importance of regular practice. Being persistent, patient and pacing yourself.

FREE TRIAL LESSON
With Guitar 1on1, you get the opportunity to try a lesson first before paying. This is a 30 minute orientation to help you “get a feel” for what your lessons will be like. This NO OBLIGATION FREE TRIAL lesson, is where you and your new teacher come up with lesson plans and goals that you can both work towards. Your teacher will inform you of anything you may need to buy (e.g. display folder for lesson hand outs, picks, tuner etc.) If you enjoy your first lesson, and are ready to go with guitar lessons, you are booked in at a scheduled weekly time and day.
Pricing:
30 minute lessons
$27.50 per week.
60 minute lessons
$55 per week.
Guitar 1on1 works on a prepaid system so that you can keep track of what lessons you have paid for. You can either choose 4 lessons in advance.

MAKEUP LESSONS
Guitar 1on1 works on a makeup lesson system. That way, if you can’t come to a lesson, that lesson is made up at another time and you haven’t lost any momentum.
MORE LESSONS PER YEAR
Unlike most music schools, Guitar 1on1 is also available for lessons over school holidays. This is to help those students who are no longer in school, to continue to move forward as a guitarist. Should you want to continue playing over the school holidays, these arrangements can be made. Guitar 1on 1 scheduled holidays for the year are June school holidays and Christmas/boxing day, New years period.
